The Catholic parish of Our Lady Immaculate, Chelmsford, was founded in 1845 to serve the needs of the growing Catholic population, and in 1965 the parish of Holy Name was founded to provide a spiritual home for the Catholics of Moulsham Lodge, Chelmsford.
Today, rooted in history, the linked parishes of Our Lady Immaculate and Holy Name work together to spread the message of Jesus Christ, in faithful communion with the Bishop of Brentwood and the Pope, here in Chelmsford and beyond. Fortified by the grace of the sacraments we seek the salvation of souls and the glorification of God in all our works.
We welcome visitors, parishioners, and anybody curious about the message of Jesus Christ. Please spend some time looking at our website and don’t hesitate to contact us if you would like any more information.
