Can you play the piano, organ or guitar? The St Augustines music group are looking for a pianist or guitarist to accompany and support with music and worship over the Advent and Christmas period and beyond. Contact Leighton or the parish office for further details.
Mass in Portuguese: There will be a Mass for the Advent season at 3pm in Holy Name on Sunday 15th December. All welcome to share refreshments in the Hall after the Mass.
RORATE CAELI MASS IN OUR LADY IMMACULATE: Friday 20th December at 7:30am with Breakfast and refreshments in the Hall after. The Rorate Caeli Mass is a traditional Advent devotion where the Mass of the Blessed Virgin Mary for Advent is offered just before dawn. The interplay of light and darkness speak to the meaning of Advent and the coming of the Light of the world. All very welcome to attend.

Children at Holy Name on Christmas Eve: Carols 5pm Vigil Mass 5.30pm: All children are welcome to dress up in a Nativity costume and take part in our Christmas Eve Mass. All costumes are provided. Please arrive before 5pm and come through the church to the Cannon Wilson Hall to collect a costume. If you would like any further information or if you know in advance that your child would like to take part, please email Claire at c.irven@talk21.com with your child's first name and age to help us to get the costumes ready. CAROL SINGING AT MOULSHAM LODGE SHOPS – WEDNESDAY 18th DECEMBER: All singers and musicians are welcome to join our sisters and brothers from St Luke’s and the Moulsham Lodge Methodist Churches, spreading some Christian joy at this special time of year. Meeting at St Luke’s at 3.30pm, we’ll then head to the shops for 3.45pm and then sing carols until 5pm at the latest. If you’d like to join in, please let Sarah Hiom know (07771 786184) so that we can give an indication of numbers – thank you.
CHRISTMAS MEMORIAL SERVICE: Thursday 19th December at 18:30 at the Three Counties Crematorium Chapel CM7 5PB. Please join us to remember those who have passed away and take time to reflect on the memories we all hold. Refreshments available. For more information see the posters in Church.

DIVINE MERCY DEVOTIONS: Take place in Holy Name Parish Church after the 7:30pm Mass on Monday 16th December. All are very welcome.
DAY OF MERCY: There will be a day of Mercy on Wednesday 18th December in Our Lady Immaculate with confessions and adoration available in the Church after the 9:30am Mass from between 10am-6pm. Please support the day by signing up to spend time with Our Lord, sign up sheet available in the porch of Our Lady Immaculate Church.

Christmas Maranatha at The Sion Community: Sawyers Hall Lane, Brentwood, CM15 9BX, is on Thursday 18th December. The evening begins with Mass at 7pm followed by Prayer and Praise and Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. Our Celebrant is Fr Arnaud from St. Anthony's, Forest Gate and everyone is very welcome.
