SVP HELP REQUIRED: The National India President of the SVP is coming to Chelmsford and meeting SVP conferences on the 3rd of July. If you would like to help with the event please contact Eve on 07876551150.

FUNDRAISING TOMBOLA: after all Masses at St Augustine this Sunday. Phil Perrier will be running a tombola for the Denis Hurley Centre in Durban South Africa. Tickets £1 each – each ticket wins a prize. She will be at Holy Name the following week.

2nd COLLECTION TODAY:
is the Day for Life collection dedicated to raising awareness about the meaning and value of human life at every stage and in every condition. The Church teaches that life is to be nurtured from conception to natural death.Thank you in advance for your generosity.
Walsingham House Anniversary Mass: On the 31st August at Walsingham House at Abbotswick. Celebrate 40 years of team at Walsingham House with us, beginning with Mass celebrated by Bishop Alan at 12pm followed by celebrations at our beautiful retreat house just outside Brentwood. All very welcome.

Boys' Clothes-aged 9 and 10 years and 15 years old.
Double Buggy-(side by side) - for infant and 3 year old.

FR MARTIN'S 30th ANNIVERSARY OF HIS ORDINATION MASS AT NEW HALL SCHOOL:
All from the Chelmsford Linked Parishes are invited to attend Mass at New Hall School at 4:30pm on Sunday the 30th June. Light refreshments will be available after the Mass. Envelopes available at the back of church to donate to Fr Martin's continued ministry.

BCYS Summer Lourdes Pilgrimage: 20th–27th July 2024

CHARITY EVENING WITH 3 COURSE INDIAN MEAL:
All are invited on Saturday 13th July 2024 from 6pm for a fundraising event at St Augustine Church in aid of Familia orphanage in Kolkatta, India. The evening will include a three course Indian meal and plenty of entertainment, including a quiz and raffle - with lots of prizes to be won! Tickets are priced at £20 per person and all proceeds will go towards Familia. We hope to see as many of you there as possible for what is sure to be a fun filled evening in aid of a truly worthy cause. Tickets are available in St Augustine before and after the Mass on Sunday in the Entrance Porch. Please speak to Cily or contact the Parish office for further information.

DIVINE MERCY DEVOTIONS: Take place in Holy Name Parish Church after the 7:30pm Mass on Monday 17th June. All are very welcome.

SVP COFFEE MORNING NEXT SUNDAY: 23rd June - the SVP will be serving coffee, tea and soft drinks, as well as delicious home- baked cakes and savouries after 9.00 am and 12.00 am masses. All are warmly welcome.

ST JOHN PAYNE FOUNDATION GOVERNOR VACANCY
: St John Payne secondary school currently has a vacancy for a voluntary Foundation Governor to join the school’s local governing body. Foundation governors must be practicing Catholics. In addition to working as part of the governing body team to promote high standards and opportunities for every child, they are appointed to ensure that the religious character of the school is preserved. If you are interested in this role please contact the Parish Office for more information about how to apply.
Sion 'Maranatha' event: With Mass celebrated by Fr. Paschal Uche, followed by Prayer and Praise, will be held at Sion Community, Sawyers Hall Lane, Brentwood, CM15 9BX on Thursday, 20th June at 7pm. All welcome."

The St John Bosco Children’s Camp:
is now open for bookings! Children age 9 – 12 can enjoy an amazing week, packed with fun activities, including many sports, from 27th July – 3rd August. The Camp is a special work of Caritas Diocese of Brentwood and this year there is space for just 100 children – book early! CTS BOOKLETS AND THE PARISH LIBRARY:
Please note that CTS booklets are part of the Parish Library at OLI and are a resource for all parishioners. CTS booklets are not for sale. Please do not put money in the boxes for CTS booklets: they should be returned to the Parish Library once you have read them so that others can also enjoy them.

RADIO MARIA ENGLAND:
Invites all to the 200 stars of Radio Maria Mass and reception, Monday 24th of July at 6pm with refreshments following the Mass at the Rosary Shrine, St Dominic's Priory, Southampton Road, NW5 4LB. All Welcome.

THE SAINT VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY:
provides practical support where possible for those who need it. Are you, in need of help, or know someone who is? If so, contact us on 0207 7033030, 07876 551150 or via the Parish Office. HOSPITAL AND SICK VISITS:
If you or a member of your family go into hospital, or are sick and housebound, please inform the Parish Office so a priest or the Legion of Mary can visit you.
