FR PASCHAL'S LEAVING CELEBRATION

Saturday 31st August at Holy Name, Canon Wilson Hall after the 6pm Mass. The Hall will be open to all from 7pm. There will be a light finger buffet available, please bring-a-plate with you to add to the spread, which includes cake, sausage rolls and drinks. Thank you to all who have offered their help in making it a joyful celebration in Thanksgiving for Fr Paschal's ministry to our Parishes over the last year.

SVP FUNDRAISING FOR SOUTH SUDAN
- Save the Date - 28th September - Hall of Games. We're trying something a bit different to our usual quiz format - please save the date and come along for an evening of games and team challenges at St Augustine's Church. More details to follow.

ADVANCE NOTICE MASS CHANGE:
From Friday the 6th September the St Philip's Mass at 7:30am will be moving down to Our Lady Immaculate Church with refreshments after in the Church Hall.

KEEP THE DATE - LINKED PARISH PILGRIMAGE TRIP TO WALSINGHAM
: Monday 7th October 2024. Envelopes available at the back of the Churches to book your place on the coach trip leaving from our three Parish churches. The cost is £20 per person. Envelopes can be handed in with your details to the Parish Office or via the collection plate. If you require any further information please call the Parish Office.
Youth Gather, Essex Outdoors: East Mersea, 26th – 27th October. For anyone in year 9 and above, join us for a weekend of speakers, workshops, prayer and more, alongside the opportunity to try high ropes, archery or climbing at the amazing Essex Outdoors in East Mersea. HELP NEEDED
: For a partially sighted disabled lady in the parish to shop and clean and general help on Mondays for 3.5 hours and Thursdays for 4 hours in the Springfield area. References and access to a car essential. Rates and hours worked negotiable on application. For more information enquire via the Parish Office or contact 01245 468839 between the hours of 10am and 6pm. Applicants from the Chelmsford locality preferred.

OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP DEVOTIONS:
will be held immediately following the 10:30am Mass on Saturday, 31st August at Our Lady Immaculate church. All are welcome.
BBQ and Mass for young adults: Our Lady Immaculate, Chelmsford, Sunday 8th September: If you are 18+, having left school, from 1st September then you are very welcome to join a group of young adults for a BBQ from 4pm with Mass at 7pm, at Our Lady Immaculate Church in Chelmsford. No need to book, simply come along to meet other young adult Catholics and find out more about upcoming events just for you!

MARCH FOR LIFE UK:
Saturday 7th September. In the morning of March for Life we will be hosting a ‘Pro-life Health Summit’ 10.30-12.30 in The Emmanuel Centre where a variety of healthcare specialists will be looking in greater detail at our theme ‘Abortion isn’t Healthcare’.
