MISSION APPEAL SECOND COLLECTION THIS WEEKEND – 26th & 27th April 2025. Our parish is happy to welcome the Salesians of Don Bosco UK, who will be sharing the inspiring work being done by the members of the congregation working in Africa. A young member will describe how he has benefitted from the generosity of the Catholic Churches in the UK to sponsor his studies in the Catholic Universities in London and after gaining the expertise offered by them, be able to make a greater impact on the missionary work in his own home Province among young people both in the educational institutions run by the Salesians of Don Bosco and the social service centres.
Your generosity and support will help assist a young Salesian prepare himself to reach out the to the marginalised youth in Africa today.

COACH FOR THE DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE TO WALSINGHAM on the 24th May 2025: Join Frs Martin and Damien, and Bishop Alan and other parishes around the Diocese of Brentwood in Walsingham to celebrate the Jubilee Year of Hope. We will celebrate Mass at the Basilica before walking the Holy Mile to the grounds of Walsingham Abbey to celebrate Vespers and Benediction. The cost for a place on the coach is £20 leaving from Our Lady Immaculate Church at 7am, and St Augustine Church, which has parking available at 7:20am. Please note there are only 50 spaces available on the coach, please return the booking slips to the Parish Office as soon as possible to confirm your place.

MASS FOR THE REPOSE OF THE SOUL OF THE HOLY FATHER IN BRENTWOOD CATHEDRAL: Will be celebrated by Bishop Alan on Sunday the 27th April at 11:30am. All very welcome.

MASS FOR MIGRANTS: The Dioceses and Ethnic Chaplaincies of Brentwood, Southwark and Westminster invite you to a celebration of the annual Mass for Migrants on Monday, 5th May 2025, 2pm at Westminster Cathedral. The Mass will celebrate the contributions made to the faith, life and work in the UK by all those from other countries who make a home here. Cardinal Michael Fitzgerald, MAfr OBE, will be both celebrant and preacher.

YOUTH Diocesan Pilgrimage to Walsingham: for young people (18+), Saturday 24th May 2025. A group of representatives from the BCYS (aged 18+), will join Bishop Alan and other parishes on pilgrimage to Walsingham, with opportunities for readers, servers, musicians and singers during the day. YOUTH MASS IN BRENTWOOD CATHEDRAL: This Thursday 1st May. Celebrate the Month of Mary with a time with a workshop and time of prayer led by our Walsingham House volunteer team. The evening begins at 6pm with pizza and refreshments in the Parish Hall, followed by around an hour of input before celebrating Mass together at 7:30pm. The whole evening finishes around 8:30pm.

There is no need to book and no cost for this - please feel very welcome to come along and simply find out more about the BCYS and what they offer!

SVP CHELMSFORD COFFEE MORNING:
this Sunday 27th April, in Our Lady Immaculate Church Hall. We will be serving coffee, tea and soft drinks, as well as delicious home- baked cakes and sausage rolls after 9.00 am and 12.00 am masses. All are warmly welcome.

HOLY NAME LADIES GROUP QUIZ NIGHT: 10th May 7pm for 7:30pm in the Canon Wilson Hall at Holy Name Church. Tickets £5 per adult and £1 per child under 15.
