ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY TEA PARTY : The SVP (Springfield Conference) are holding a 'Tea Party' on Saturday 10th February between 2:30pm and 4:00pm at St. Augustine's Hall, Springfield CM1 6GQ. This tea party is open to all retired parishioners (particularly those who are living alone). To book your place, please call 07740 399404.
UNWANTED CHRISTMAS GIFTS: With a view to our Christmas Fayre which will be held in November this year, a box will be left at the back of OLI church for the next few weeks to receive any Christmas presents which are surplus to your requirements and which you might like to donate to this worthy cause, which raises much needed funds for our Parish. With many thanks.
SECOND COLLECTION THIS WEEK FOR RACIAL JUSTICE: The theme for Racial Justice Sunday is: “Seeing one another in the life of the Church”. On this day Catholics are called to pray for those who experience unjust discrimination or are especially marginalised because of their race and ethnicity. All the money raised will go towards supporting the Church’s work on racial justice issues. Thank you for your generosity.
PRAYER GROUP: The Holy Rosary of the Crucifixion prayer group meets every Wednesday at 6:15pm at Our Lady Immaculate church. All are welcome to join us in praying this beautiful devotion before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. This is followed by traditional prayers, litanies, devotions, and Benediction until 7:45pm. All very welcome.
CHILDREN'S LITURGY AT HOLY NAME: If you can help support our vibrant children's liturgy on Sunday mornings at the 10:45 Mass please urgently speak with one of the Priests or Claire, or phone the Parish Office. Without volunteers it cannot continue.
